Church Music Director
The Danbury United Methodist Church seeks an energetic and creative Music Director to lead our music program.
Responsibilities include selecting and providing organ and piano music for Sundays and special services
throughout the year and working with the pastor to plan and lead the music for Sunday worship.
Currently, there is one service and one rehearsal weekly. Candidate will direct the choir that provides
diverse styles of music including Traditional, Contemporary and Gospel. Experience with building a strong church
music program a definite plus! We are open to all ideas!
We offer a 1986 Rogers Oxford 925, 3 manual electronic organ and a Samik Grand Piano.
Time commitment is approximately 8-10 hours per week. Salary is up to 15K depending on experience.
